PARKING STICKER INFORMATION
Mayor Carlo DeMaria is pleased to announce
the official start date for the 2013 Residential
Parking Sticker Program. Beginning Wednesday,
January 2nd,, the new 2013 parking stickers
will be available in the Parking Clerk’s
Office in the lobby of City Hall.
To obtain a new sticker you must return
the 2012 sticker, as well as provide a
copy of an active registration showing
that the vehicle is registered to an Everett
address. As a courtesy, the stickers will
be distributed for FREE until February
28th. Beginning March 1st the $10 fee
will once again be reinstated. Any vehicle
without the new 2013 sticker will be ticketed.

The parking clerk is an appointee
of the mayor, with the approval of the city
council. The power and duties of the parking
clerk are outlined in the Massachusetts General
Laws, Chapter 90, sec 20A1/2. In short, the
parking clerk maintains and records all parking
violations, applies payment and late fees
as deemed on parking violations and holds
hearings where parking violators can be heard.
The parking clerk also issues residential
parking stickers and visitors placards. |
