    • BILL WELD VISITS MAYOR DEMARIA
      Mayor Carlo DeMaria recently met with former Massachusetts’ Governor Bill Weld about important development opportunities in the City. The Mayor was delighted to welcome the former Governor to Everett City Hall. (read more) April 22, 2013
    • MAYOR HONORS RAMUNNO ON ENLISTING IN U.S. NAVY
      Mayor Carlo DeMaria recently offered the City’s thanks and appreciation to Brian Ramunno, an Everett resident who, recently enlisted in the United States Navy.  The Mayor congratulated Ramunno and presented him with a citation wishing him the best of luck. (read more) April 22, 2013
    • EVERETT CULTURAL COUNCIL AWARDS $8,350 IN GRANTS
      Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the Everett Cultural Council are pleased to announce the awarding of 16 grants totaling $8,350 for cultural programs to be held throughout the City of Everett.   (read more) April 22, 2013

    • STREET SWEEPING TO BEGIN APRIL 1st
      Mayor Carlo DeMaria, Jr. would like to remind all residents that the Citywide street sweeping program will begin on Monday, April 1st.  Starting on the 1st, the City will begin enforcing all street sweeping regulations, and vehicles in violation will be subject to ticketing and towing.     • MAYOR JOINS ELKS TO HONOR SUPERINTENDENT FORESTEIRE
      Mayor Carlo DeMaria, Jr. recently joined the Saugus-Everett Lodge of Elks at their Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner.  The Mayor joined many members of the Everett community at the #642 Lodge in Saugus to honor Superintendent Fred Foresteire as the Educator of the Year.     • EPD RECEIVES PORTION OF COMMUNITY SAFETY INITIATIVE GRANT - The Metro Mayors Community Safety Initiative (CSI) has received a $331,000 Shannon Grant award from the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS). (read more) March 25, 2013
    • MAYOR SUBMITS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PACKAGE TO CITY COUNCIL
      In accordance with the new City Charter, Mayor Carlo DeMaria Jr. officially submitted the Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal year 2014 to the City Council at a Joint Convention held on Monday, March 4th.   (read more) March 11, 2013

    • FINAL DAYS TO GET FREE RESIDENTIAL PARKING STICKER
      Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the Office of the Parking Clerk would like to remind residents that Thursday, February 28th is the final day to obtain a FREE 2013 residential parking sticker.  As of Monday, March 4th a new sticker will cost $10.  Stickers are available for residents to pickup at the Parking Clerk’s office, 1st Floor City Hall.  Residents are required to remove and bring the 2012 sticker, as well as the vehicle registration.
    • HUMAN SERVICES PROVIDES SENIOR TRANSPORTATION
      Do you need a ride to a Doctor’s Appointment or to Grocery Shopping?
      The Office of Human Services has provided transportation to medical appointments and nutritional shopping for many years and will continue to provide this valuable service. (read more) February 25, 2013
