Everett RecycleBank Program

Everett partners with RecycleBank to provide a single stream recycling service, which means all recyclable materials can be palced in one tote - no sorting necessary! Simply place your recyclable materials - paper: nrewspapers, envelopes, cardboard, junk mail, magazines, cereal boxes, telephone books; metal: aluminum cans, steel cans, tin cans; *plastic: detergent containers, plastic containers 1-7, plastic milk containers; and glass: glass bottles, glass jars - in the burgundy RecycleBank tote provided by the city and place the tote at curbside on your designated collection day.

X Do NOT recycle plastic bags. Please make a bag of plastic bags and drop them off at thr plastic bag recycling container found at most supermarkets.

X Do NOT put rubbish in the burgundy RecycleBank tote.

RecycleBank technology weighs and scans your household tote on collection day. RecycleBank points are awarded based on the amount recycled and can be redeemed at hundreds of national and local businesses, such as Shaw's, Rite Aide, and Dunkin Donuts.

Visit www.recyclebankcom or call 1-888-727-2978 to create a RecycleBank account and redeem your points.

Recycling totes are collected every other week on your regular trash collection day. Please call (617) 394-5004 to find out more information about the recycling schedule for your neighborhood or click here for a schedule.

Holiday Schedule

Whenever a scheduled collection day falls on a government holiday, that day's collection and all remaining collections for the week will be delayed one day. Friday's collection will be on Saturday.
