Coach Dib's EHS Alumni Basketball Game

Come join us at Everett High School on Thursday, June 14th at 7:00PM for “Coach Dib’s Everett High School Alumni Basketball Game. Former players of Coach John DiBiaso will come together to put on an exhibition basketball game in honor of the greatest coach in EHS history and arguably the greatest high school coach in Massachusetts history.

His career record as a head football coach is 304 - 75 -1. That includes 252 wins and 12 Super Bowl Titles in 26 years (1992-2018) as head coach at Everett High. (He also coached at St. Pat’s and Weston prior to Everett)

His Basketball career record is 503-223 (1983-2018) making him the only coach in Massachusetts history to reach 300 wins in football and 500 in basketball….Amazing!

Coach DiBiaso is a players coach who genuinely cares about his players and their families. He was viewed as a father figure of sorts in the Everett community.

He spent 39 years  working at Everett High School as a teacher, coach and athletic director.

During that time, he touched many lives and that is why he is beloved and revered by his players. Dib as he is affectionately known, will be remembered as an old school coach who taught and coached for the right reasons. There are not too many of those types of coaches left. That is why we should appreciate coaches like John DiBiaso.

Coach Dib decided to move on to other opportunities and retired from EHS in 2018, and we would like for this game to become a great memory for him, as part of his send off.

So please come and fill the gym and let’s show Coach Dib how much he has meant to our community. Admission is Free!
