Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the entire City Government of Everett, invite you to join them at the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 6th, from 5pm - 8pm in Everett Square. Enjoy, holiday performances from the Everett Girl Scouts, OnPointe Dance academy and a live band performance by Angelena Hightower and the Unit as we light up what is sure to be the best tree we've had in many years! There will be horse and buggy rides (2) around the square and  train rides (2) up and down Norwood street. Firepits, hot chocolate, giveaways, face painting, balloon twisters, and of course a visit from Santa! Photos with Santa begin at 5:30pm at the Parlin Library (upstairs). we will also have Elfie the Selfie Elf in the square along with many other characters, with whom you may take your own photos. We will be lighting the tree somewhere between 6:00 - 6:30pm. So dress warm and wish for good weather as we enjoy this great annual tradition, together! The more that attend the warmer we'll be!
