On Thursday, November 30th Mayor Carlo DeMaria and First Lady, Stacy DeMaria, along with City Councilors Michael McLaughlin and Wayne Matewsky, Chamber President David LaRovere, and city employees welcomed Down The Road Beer Co. and owner Donovan Bailey to the City of Everett.

The new Everett business, located at 199 Ashland Street, joins Night Shift Brewing and Short Path Distillery as the third brewery to come into Everett. Mayor DeMaria’s administration continues to work to market unique urban business areas.

Helmed by veteran brewer Donovan Bailey, Down The Road Beer Co. is one of the fastest-growing breweries in the Greater Boston area. They recently finished construction on a state-of-the-art brewhouse and 300-person taproom, just blocks from the Wynn Resort.

The other breweries and distillery in Everett have had high praise for the DeMaria administration for the continue commitment and dedication to their businesses. Owners of Nightshift, Short Path, and Bone Up Brewing Company explain that the administration has been helpful and nurturing to their businesses.

The Mayor has continuously emphasized that it’s not all about large-scale developments. Everett’s growth and success also depends on great operations like Down the Road.

Mayor DeMaria stated, “The City of Everett is dedicated to working with the local business community while working along with the Chamber of Commerce to make a profitable economic climate for the businesses in Everett and we welcome Down the Road to our team.”
