MAYOR DEMARIA VISITS WITH SERGEANT RALPH TRUFANT ON VETERANS DAY

On Saturday, November 11th, Veterans Day, Mayor Carlo DeMaria made a special visit to the house of 96-year-old Sergeant Ralph Trufant, who was unable to attend this year’s Veterans Day ceremony.

On Saturday, November 11th, Veterans Day, Mayor Carlo DeMaria made a special visit to the house of 96-year-old Sergeant Ralph Trufant, who was unable to attend this year’s Veterans Day ceremony. The Mayor was joined by Retired Sgt. Major of the Army National Guard Tom Ardita, Army Captain John Cristiano, retired Brigadier General Paul Landry, and Marine Veteran Robert Landry. Mayor DeMaria stated, “Sergeant Trufant was an engaging host. It was humbling to be in such company on this most important day. You serve us all, you make us proud, and we can never thank you enough.”
