CITY OF EVERETT TO HOST KIDS TO PARKS DAY AS PART OF GRAND RE- OPENING OF SWAN STREET PARK

On Saturday, May 19th at 11AM Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the City of Everett will host the second Annual Kids to Parks Day in the City of Everett.

S & P GLOBAL ASSIGNS EVERETT’S LONG-TERM BOND RATING TO ONE OF ITS HIGHEST LEVELS

On Monday, April 23rd Mayor Carlo DeMaria announced that Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings assigned its ‘AA+’ long-term rating to the City of Everett for the second year in a row.

Last year S & P raised the City’s long-term rating on general obligation (GO) bonds to ‘AA+’ from 'AA' based on a draft report citing the city’s improved reserve levels and increased property wealth.

EVERETT’S RAIN BARREL PROGRAM HELPS RESIDENTS CONSERVE WATER AND SAVE MONEY

As part of Mayor Carlo DeMaria’s efforts to reduce stormwater runoff, save residents money, and conserve drinking water, the City of Everett is once again offering a Rain Barrel Program to residents.

NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION TAKE-BACK DAY TO BE HELD ON APRIL 28th

Mayor Carlo DeMaria, the Everett Health Department and Partnership for Success collaboration, along with the Everett Police will again be sponsoring a National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 28th from 10AM-2PM.

Everett residents will be able to drop off any unused or expired medications for safe disposal at the Everett Police Department drop off box. This is part of a national effort to take back prescription drugs.
