Mission
To provide the residents of Everett with access to health, nutrition, and fitness education, programming, and resources.

Function
The Office of Health and Wellness oversees the Community Health and Wellness Center, its fitness and nutrition programs, as well as Community Recreation and the Energize Everett initiative.
Included in the Office of Health and Wellness are:
  1. Community Fitness Center

    The Fitness Center provides a safe, quality environment for you and your whole family. We’re here to help you achieve your fitness goals, right in your neighborhood.

    Community Recreation is responsible for providing fun, creative, and inclusive activities for families to participate in at the Everett Community Health and Wellness Center.

  4. Energize Everett

    Energize Everett works locally to increase opportunities for Everett residents to eat healthy and be active in the places they live, learn, work, and play.

  5. Farmers Market

    The Everett Farmer's Market - First and Third Wednesday, June 15th - October 19th 2016 provides a community gathering place for farmers, artists, musicians, and consumers. Fresh fruits and vegetables are grown and sold by local farmers every week. Additionally, handmade jewelry, crafts, and home goods are sold by local businesses. The Musician's Corner features local artists and students to entertain all market patrons. Fun kids activities like face painting and craft projects make the market fun for the whole family. SNAP, WIC, and senior coupons are accepted at the market! With Double Your Dollars, you can receive extra Market Bux to use at the market. The Everett Farmer's Market is a program under Energize Everett, a Mass in Motion Community.

2016 Childhood Obesity Prevention Awards Video
The United States Conference of Mayors awarded the City of Everett for their healthy and wellness programming in the City to help prevent childhood obesity through a "Healthy Me" program.
